How to Switch to 10 Digit Dialing

	Double click My computer-> Dial-up Networking -> then right click on your XPRT icon, click Properties. This is the screen you will see.

	Please add the Area Code before the number so that it looks like this. Click OK and close all the open windows. Your Windows 95 machine is now ready for 10 Digit Dialing.

	Go to Start-> Setting -> Control Panel and then the Modems icon. Click on the Dialing Properties.

	Click on the Area Code Rules.

	Put a check mark in "Always dial the area code" in the top section.

	Double click My Computer then Phone and Modem Options.

	If your area code is 503 this is the screen you will see. Select your location and click Edit

	If your area code is 971 this is the screen you will see. Select your location and click Edit

	Select the Area Code Rules tab. Click New

	Type in the Area Code 503, select "Include all prefixes within this area code" Check mark the "Include the area code" box. Click OK until you are back to the Control Panel. Close the Control Panel. You are now setup for 10 Digit Dialing
