Effects
A dry
sound track can be salvaged.
- A
dry track comes from all direct feed
and no ambience.
- Reverb can be
added to simulate the room.
- Crowd sounds
& applause can be added.
A noisy sound
track is difficult to salvage.
- Simple hum (60
Hz) can be filtered out, but watch out for the
bass!
- Hum overtones
(120 Hz, 180 Hz) are more difficult to filter
because they're in the middle of the music.
- Dimmer buzz
(60 Hz plus many overtones) is nearly impossible
to filter out.
- Ambient noise
between performances can be dipped, filtered,
masked, or edited.
Missing
instruments cant be replaced!
- So be sure
everything is being picked up!
