"Film Style"
Production (Single-camera)
- Shot setu-by-setup
(scenes not necessarily in order)
- Traditionally audio
person has portable mixer and shotgun mic on boom.
- Feed audio to all
cameras if shooting simultaneous reverse angles, etc.
- Remember to record
reference (0dB tone with bars) and slate (record scene
and take numbers)
"Video Style"
Production (Multi-camera)
- Shot live-to-tape or
whole progam segment at once.
- Audio person often
responsible for multiple microphones (like studio
production), Mobile (or van) mixer.
- Large productions
should have audio assistant (go-fer).
