At 10:00 we went to the National Portrait Museum, not my first choice of sights, but Lacy wanted to see it and I went along. It was actually quite interesting with many media other than traditional oil paintings and images of many contemporary and recent people as well as historical figures. |

By Underground and then on foot we made a quick visit to the War Museum to look for some information for a friend on whether there were any airdromes left in England. We didn't find out until later that there is an aerodrome museum at Duxford, near Cambridge. |
