Theatre Museum

Just at the other end of the same block from the Transport Museum is the Theatre Museum. Upstairs in the Theater Museum is mostly devoted to costumes (and some set design) for various opera productions. Since I am not particularly fond of this art form, I found the downstairs part much more interesting. Here they had a very interesting exhibition of theater art and technology through history.

A large special exhibit in the central part of the space was a behind the scenes look a the entire process for a new production of Wind in the Willows which had just closed a very successful run at the National
