French Toast

Photo 1: Festival Disney American Café
On Thursday morning we got out early and went to Boissey to have breakfast at the Festival Disney American Café (photo at left). This is an "over the top" caricature of coffee shops from the 1950s in the grand Disney style.Neither of us had seen anything like an American breakfast since we got to Europe. Lacy had pancakes and I ordered French Toast. The French waitress appeared to snicker as she delivered my "French" toast, but Lacy insists that I was imagining it.

We went back to see Captain Eo again and they managed to keep the equipment running for the entire 40 minutes! We also took the steam train around the park. In Paris the train also goes in a clockwise direction, but the Grand Canyon Diorama is located just after the Main Street station. (In America they are located between the Tomorrowland stations and the Main Street Stations.) Unfortunately, just before we got to the diorama, we lost lighting and sound to all the train cars so we didn't get to hear the Disney condensed arrangement of Ferde Grofé's Grand Canyon Suite.
