They will help you make inteligent decisions for microphone
selection and application.
- Sound radiates from the source through
the air.
- Sound can also be conducted through
solids (walls, doors, glass)
- Source can be directional or
omnidirectional.
- Loudness falls off over distance
(inverse square law)
- High frequencies are more directional
than low.
